Endeavour Clever Networks Satellite Rental Service Agreement/Terms
Delivery
  • Please order your equipment as early as possible.
  • Not all delivery services are available in all areas. We use Australian Air Express, please allow at least two days for delivery to an Australian State Capital cities and three days to the country areas. 
  • Delivery can be made to a Post Box (however you will need to sign for it).
  • A signature will be required at delivery.  
  • If a courier parcel needs to be redelivered it will attract an extra charge of $20. It's important that the delivery address has someone available during business hours to accept and sign the delivery docket.
  • Missing items from the delivered package must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Re-routing, or cancellation prior to delivery, incurs a charge of $20 per package.
  • Endeavour has two depots one in Western Australia and one in New South Wales, Australia. This is to maximise delivery and rental support.
Billing and Call Charges
  • Customers are limited to two ECN products per credit card. Bond, Rental charges, Theft and Loss Protection, and shipping charges are taken from your credit card before shipping. During the rental period, you are liable to pay for all calls made and received according to the applicable tariff.
  • Call charges will be taken from your credit card as and when we receive the call data from the networks. This is usually done monthly however if there is high usage we may take this amount out weekly. Due to delays in receiving call data from networks, calls may be charged several months after they were made.
  • Also note that calls to other Satellite networks can be expensive please check tariffs for more details.
  • A bond/deposit of $1000.00per unit must be paid before rental.
  • The bond must be paid by credit card.
  • Minimum of 3 days rental.
  • If you require the phone to be sent to you a courier charge of $20.00 each way will be incurred.
  • The return deposit may take between 3 to 8 weeks to be refunded after the return of the rental.
  • You must inform us of any changes to your credit card details. If we are unable to take payments we may suspend the service until outstanding charges are taken. Our credit card transactions are processed at our billing centre in Sydney; prior to travel you are advised to make arrangements with your credit card company that you will be receiving debits from Endeavour Clever Networks charges will be in AUD dollars or in some cases USD.
  • Early return is non-refundable.
Payment of Charges
  • All monies owing to ECN at the end of the rental agreement will be debited from the nominated credit card on the rental agreement form. 
  • An account will be sent via e-mail by ECN advising of the amount to be debited and the date on which the amount will be debited from the nominated credit card.
Liability
  • Customers are responsible for taking care of the equipment and ensuring that it is used responsibly.
  • Customers must not transfer the ownership, sell or rent the equipment.
  • We shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience arising from an
Loss Theft or Damage
  • The rental phone and accessories must be returned in good working order & condition. A charge will be levied if phone or accessories are damaged above normal usage.
    Customers are liable for all rental and call charges incurred until you notify us of the loss or theft. To request disconnection of the service call 1300 768 000 immediately.
    If you have not taken out Theft and Loss Protection, you will be required to pay us the full replacement cost of the equipment, and this will be debited from your credit card.
Theft and Loss Protection
This protects you from the charges that would normally be incurred if your equipment was accidentally lost, stolen or damaged. The Theft & Loss Protection is subject to the following terms:
  • You must report the theft or loss to the Police. You must notify us of the Police Incident Number, the name and telephone number of the officer and Police station, and the date on which the incident was reported. Claims cannot be accepted unless this information is provided
  • You must pay the Theft and Loss Protection Deductible charge within 14 days of the claim being authorised. (Satellite equipment: $400.)
  • You must take all reasonable precautions to protect the equipment from theft, loss and damage.
  • The Theft and Loss Protection does not cover the cost of call charges incurred before the loss, theft or damage has been notified to us and the equipment has been suspended from further use.
  • The Theft and Loss Protection does not cover any costs incurred as a consequence of the loss, theft or damage of the equipment.
  • The Theft and Loss Protection does not cover the costs in respect of the following, in which cases you will be required to pay the full replacement costs to ECN:
    • Theft of the equipment from an unattended motor vehicle
    • Theft or loss of the equipment from an exhibition or trade-show.
    • The non-return of batteries, charging equipment and any other accessories listed on the contract.
    • Loss or damage caused by the wilful act of yourself, your company's employees or any person using the equipment without your permission.
  • This policy shall be void in the event of fraud, non-disclosure or alteration of risk.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the Theft and Loss Protection by sending notice to your email address, and in such an event returning the premium for the unexpired period.
Equipment Problems
Any problems you have with the equipment must be reported to ECN as soon as possible. Refunds will not be issued if we were not given the opportunity to solve the problem. We shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience arising from any aspect of our service.
 
Returning Equipment
You are responsible for returning the equipment to us, simply deposit it with our pre-paid Australian Air express bag and ring for a pickup or drop off at one of their depot If the package is deposited later than the agreed Rental End Date, additional rental (and optional Theft and Loss Protection aspect of our service. We shall not be held responsible for problems relating to the service provided by the Satellite networks. In the event of the equipment developing a fault during the rental period, contact us immediately and we will try our best to rectify the situation.
 
Late Fee

If the phone is not returned by the due date, a late fee of $50.00 per day will be charged over & above any other costs incurred by the hirer, unless prior arrangements have been made to extend the rental.

Remember your rental finishes when we receive your return at one of our offices.
 

Cancelled Orders
  • Please be advised that a cancellation fee of $50 applies should you cancel your rental 5 or more days prior to delivery.
  • Cancellations within 4 days of delivery will result in a minimum 3 day rental charge
  • If equipment has been sent then you will be also responsible for all courier charges i.e. $20 each way.
Termination of Contract

We reserve the right to terminate the contract at any point, without explanation, and to repossess the equipment, such termination to be effective immediately.
